Came to town for a work assignment and looked for the closest breakfast place on Google maps. This place was only a half mile away and had great reviews. Boy did I get lucky. The service was prompt, the place was just the right size, and the food was REALLY good. I got the 3 eggs, bacon, homefries and toast with a side of Bluebirry pancakes. Everything was great but the pancakes were my favorite. They use maple butter and I got the real maple syrup. No complaints. This is a solid breakfast spot that I would probably be a regular at if I lived closer. Good job Rhody Hen
Cute and cozy spot for brunch. I have been here 2 times and loved it both times. We ordered the Mini Breakfast Quesadillas and Veggies Benedict today with hot coffee for drinks. This place has that homemade food feels and I can taste how much they care about the quality of the food they made here. The server was very friendly and helpful. I’d totally recommend this place for brunch!
Talk about food heaven... Grilled steak and eggs.. The Healthy Omelet... Both great dishes. We will be back to try some other dishes and maybe some drinks. Everything that went by us looked great. OMG 😳 the presentation.. the taste.. servers Michael and Cindy made it all run smooth, and kudos to the chefs.
This place is fantastic! We've been here many times for breakfast, and everything has been incredibly flavorful and cooked just right, every single time! The pumpkin pancakes are some of the best I've ever had, and the Benedicts are excellent (amazing, actually -- the habanero is probably my favorite, but the steak tips and the salmon are also a real treat). We also appreciated the laid-back atmosphere, especially the wonderful people here, who are always willing to joke around but are also really helpful. Truly a special way to start the day!
Hands down the BEST place we have had breakfast while being in Rhode Island. We would have eaten here the whole trip had we found it sooner. Service 100/10 Food 100/10
The food here is always fantastic! Service is speedy and very friendly. The home fries are not to be overlooked, they’re so good. Also don’t forget to get one of the muffins and get it grilled, they’re delicious. My husband raves about the pancakes with the salted butter on top, that extra touch really amplifies the flavors.
Second time I have visited the Pawtucket Rhody Hen. Such a nice local place that has awesome food! Staff is friendly and efficient. Chefs are top notch. It might be small with under 10 tables but it's worth the wait. And usually the wait isn't all that long. Go on a weekday morning if you want to avoid longer waits. Highly recommend to anyone!
Great little place food was extremely good along side some mimosa’s . Our server was Mike very on top of his job with great info about the food . The bill was a little on high side for breakfast but definitely be back
This was awesome. Cozy atmosphere, excellent staff and better food. Try the habanero fried chicken Benny or the chorico Benny—can’t go wrong.
I've been to this restaurant several times, and the food and drinks have always been excellent. Their prices are also very reasonable. Their service has been on point. They have a good variety of dishes to choose from. The only thing I didn't like had to deal with one of the servers not being friendly; I had that same server twice, and it was the same experience. Other than that, it was a great place to go for breakfast.
